Ron D. Bozworth

Ron D. Bozworth, affectionately known as “Boz,” 53, of Frankfort passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born May 31, 1970, in Frankfort to Bill C. and Carolyn (Sheets) Bozworth.

Boz was a graduate of Frankfort High School.  He was a jack of all trades and worked several jobs through his years.  His latest job was for Aurora Parts in Lebanon.  He was a sports fan, and an avid Colts, Pacers, and IU basketball fan.  He enjoyed skiing, listening to music especially Bob Dylan, watching the Indy 500 and Indy car racing.  Boz was a strong-willed man, a fighter that was loved by all that knew him.  He never met a stranger, and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his niece and nephews.  His fun-loving personality will be missed.

Boz is survived by his parents; sister, Lisa Bozworth; nephews, Eric Sierra and Isaac Sierra; niece, Alia (Drake) Leitzman; and great nieces, Jayla and Genesis.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William N. and Ruth I. (Sharp) Bozworth and Donald G. and Laura L. (Eli) Sheets.

Visitation will be, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 11am until the time of the service at 12pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Pastor Jeremy Turner will officiate.  Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.  Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
