Roselyn E. Ramsey

Roselyn E. Ramsey, 86, of Frankfort, Ind., died at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Witham Hospital, Lebanon.  She was born June 21, 1933 in Frankfort, Ind. to Charles & Lillian (Mathews) Merrill.  She married William E. Ramsey on May 27, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas and he preceded her in death on May 22, 1998.

Rosie was a graduate of Jackson Township High School, where she was a cheerleader.  She was a farmwife and a lifelong Clinton County resident.  Rosie was member and active in the New Hope Church.  She was past president of Clinton County Cancer Society, and a past 4-H member. Rosie enjoyed gardening, lawn mowing, baking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by, 2 daughters:  Cathy (Larry) Hamilton of Frankfort, Julie (Greg) Smith of rural Frankfort, 3 sons:  James G. (Kathy) Ramsey of rural Frankfort, Bob (Penny) Ramsey of rural Frankfort, Jeffrey Ramsey of rural Frankfort, brother:  Gary (Patsy) Merrill of Carmel, sister:  Charlene Jones of Speedway, 13 Grandchildren, Angela (Josh) Archibald, Eric (Ashley) Ramsey, Keisha (Casey) Dillon, Toni Giles, Ramsey (Kyle Ann) Smith, Mark (Stacy) Lane, Travis (Jessica) Lane, Wesley (Sherryl) Lane, Mary Hamilton, Tracey (Tony) Beck, Ashley (Aaron) Selke, Chelsea Ramsey and Madison (Grant) Wilson.  37 Great Grandchildren also survive.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Merrill, brother, Steve Merrill and granddaughter, Sam Smith.

Funeral Celebration:

 Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2020 at New Hope Church, 5306 W CR 600 S, Frankfort.  Funeral Celebration will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2020 with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.  Memorial donations may be made to Clinton County Cancer Fund or New Hope Church, envelopes will be available at the church.  Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S.
