The Rossville Lions Club will host a community blood drive on Wednesday, January 28, in recognition of National Blood Donor Month. The drive will take place at the Rossville Town Park Pavilion from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The event is being held in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Indiana, with donated blood supporting patients at Franciscan Health Lafayette East and IU Health Arnett Hospital. Organizers stress that donated blood is a critical resource and can help save lives across the region.
Appointments are preferred, though walk-ins are welcome. Those wishing to schedule an appointment can scan the QR code on the event flyer or contact the organizer directly. Donors are reminded to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water prior to donating.
