See You at the Pole is a national event. Every year, in September, students from all over the country gather at their schools and pray. They typically gather around a flagpole, but the location is not the true center piece. We gather because we live in a country where we have the freedom to practice our religion freely.
This year the event was today, Wednesday, September 25. Rossville participated with prayer, devotion, and worship. The national time is 7 a.m., which is when we started. It was open to all students as well as the community. Last year we had a turnout of 43 students, as well as many teachers and administration. Today we had around 100 people, with many more community members than last year.
We are hoping everyone from today went into their everyday life inspired to spread God’s love to everyone they encounter.
