Rossville Resident Arrested for Child Pornography

ANDERSON

On Thursday, July 16, following a two month investigation that stemmed from a runaway case in another county, Detective Sergeant Dan Roudebush served an arrest warrant to Hayden Anderson, 21, of Rossville, for Child Pornography.

Detectives executed a search warrant on the suspect’s phone in June and were able to obtain a warrant from the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office.

Assisting Sergeant Roudebush was Detective Sergeant Feterick and the high tech crime unit, which is a combined team of specialized investigators from West Lafayette Police, Lafayette Police, Purdue and the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office.  The high tech crime unit is one of three in the nation.

“Again, GREAT WORK!” said Clinton County Sheriff Rich Kelly. “Our deputies are doing outstanding things every day to keep our community safe!  Detectives take on lengthy casework and spend hours pursuing leads and sifting through evidence to find the probable cause necessary to prosecute suspects.”
