Rossville Senior Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist

A Rossville High School student was named as a Semifinalist in the prestigious 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program due to his academic abilities, unwavering commitment and dedication to excellence.

Rossville senior Noah Weaver was named as a Semifinalist in the National Mer Scholarship Program, which honors high-achieving students across the country based on their performance on the Preliminary SAT or National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

“As a Semifinalist, Noah Weaver has demonstrated not only a profound intellectual aptitude but also a passion for learning that sets him apart from his peers,” the school released. “Noah Weaver has been a standout student at Rossville Middle/Senior High School, consistently demonstrating excellence in academics and involvement in various school activities. His commitment to his studies, coupled with his drive and ambition has earned him this distinguished recognition.”

The Nation Merit Scholarship Program is set to continue reviewing applications from Semifinalists to determine those who advance to the Finalist status, which will permit those individuals to be eligible for the scholarship awards.
