Roy M. Crum, 99, a lifelong Clinton County resident, passed away August 4, 2025 at Wesley Manor. He was born August 7, 1925 in Beard, Indiana to Jacob M. & Audra (Scott) Crum. He married Luella G. Crum on April 7, 1947 and she preceded him in death on April 7, 2004.
Roy was a graduate of Michigantown High School. He proudly served his country in the US. Navy in the European Theatre during WWII. He had farmed all his life, retiring in 1991. Roy was a member of the Michigantown Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Roy is survived by grandson, Robert (Marlen) Quakenbush, granddaughter, Risa (Melvin) Hall of North Carolina, 3 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Clayton and Kayleen Hall, 2 great great-grandsons and extended family, David & Libby Redding and their sons, along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and spouse, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Charlotte Quakenbush in 2019 and his siblings, Esther J. Ault, Devon S. Crum, Marie O. Berry and Carol J. Smith.
Visitation will be 12 Noon-2 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
