Ruby Jane Palmer, 83, of Frankfort, died August 22, 2021 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Home. She was born November 12, 1937 in East Chicago, Indiana to Lloyd & Beula (Conley) Reed. She married LeRoy F. Palmer on March 8, 1958 in Vincennes and he preceded her in death on February 21 2008.
Ruby attended school in East Chicago, then Westfield, Illinois. She worked at Clinton County Hospital for 20 years. She was a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Ruby enjoyed church activities, arranging flowers and being with her family.

on: LeAllen (Janet) Palmer of Macon, GA, 2 daughters: Sheila (Terry) Harshbarger of Frankfort and Amanda (Tom) Dalton of Stockwell, 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by son, Jerald “Jerry” Palmer, daughter, Lenora Ansley, 4 brothers, Harold, Raymond, Robert & William “Bill” Reed and 2 sisters, Jeanette Harlow and Stella Green.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 28th at the funeral home.
