At approximately 7:37 a.m. Tuesday, the Boone County Communications Center dispatched out a two-vehicle accident involving a black Toyota pickup truck and an orange Jeep Wrangler, at the intersection of County Road 750 S & County Road 500 W. BCSO Deputies and the Jamestown Police Department immediately responded to the scene and found both vehicles in a field, on the southeast corner of the intersection.
The driver of the Jeep, Mary Tumey of Jamestown and the driver of the Toyota pickup, Jonathan Cowen of Lebanon, were both found entrapped inside their vehicle, responsive and alert. Shortly after Law Enforcement’s initial arrival, Fire and Medic personnel arrived on scene and began extracting both occupants out of their vehicles.
Tumey and Cowen sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
