Rushville FFA Member Jenna Lawler Advances in National Officer Selection

Jenna Lawler, a member of the Rushville FFA Chapter and 2025-2026 Indiana FFA State Reporter, has advanced to the final 22 candidates in the selection process for the 2026-2027 National FFA Officer Team.

Lawler is the daughter of Brad Lawler and Nancy Starke.

Lawler was announced as Indiana FFA’s 2026 National FFA Officer Candidate before the 99th National FFA Convention and Expo. She joined candidates from across the country seeking one of six positions on the National FFA Officer Team.

During Phase 1 of the selection process, 41 candidates vied for national office. Lawler is among the 22 candidates selected to advance to Phase 2 after an extensive interview process conducted by the National FFA Officer Nominating Committee.

The national officer selection process gives FFA members the opportunity to demonstrate their leadership, share their passion for agriculture and learn about the responsibilities of serving the organization at the national level.

The 2026-2027 National FFA Officer Team will be announced during Session 7 of the National FFA Convention on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 1 p.m. EDT. The general convention sessions will be streamed live through FFA Live!.

Congraulations and Best Wishes Jenna!
