Ruth Ann Smart, 65, of Frankfort, passed away on June 21, 2023 in her home. She was born on February 4, 1958 in Frankfort to Lawrence and Catherine (Goad) Moore. She married Richard Smart on July 4, 1981 and he survives.
A lifelong Frankfort resident, Ruth attended Frankfort High School and had worked for Crellin Inc. in Frankfort. She loved family and playing games and puzzles with her children during their growing up years. Ruth also enjoyed listening to music and dancing.
Surviving along with her Husband: Richard are her Sons: Ray (Beth) Baker of Arkansas, David (Tricia) Wells of Indianapolis; Randy (Michelle) Wells of Frankfort; Daughter: Natasha Stoker of Frankfort; Grandchildren: Jordan Perrine, Cody & Emily Laughner, Averi & Oliver Wells, and Gregory Wells; Sister: Della Spears of Frankfort; Brother: Larry Moore of Frankfort and Robert Moore of Frankfort. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Mellissa Smart, granddaughter: Kylie Wells, and 2 sisters.
