Ruth J. Clark, 76, of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette. She was born in Kokomo on March 24, 1944 to Howard C. and Gladys G. (Cardwell) McGill. She had been married to Philip M. Gleason, Eugene Taylor, and Robert J. Clark; they preceded her in death.
Ruth attended Frankfort High School. She had worked at Rockwood Manufacturing Company in Rossville before working in home health care. She attended Victory Chapel Church in Frankfort. Her interests included going to yard sales, painting crafts and ceramics, gardening, and yard work.
Ruth is survived by her children, Philip (wife, Melissa) Gleason, Jr. of Frankfort, Robert Taylor of Loogootee, Jeremy Taylor of Frankfort, Pamela Boggs of Frankfort, and Audra Taylor of Illinois, 19 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she is preceded in death by her parents; son, Todd A. Taylor; brother, David McGill; and sisters, Sue Ridgway and Cindy McGill.
Visitation will be held from noon until the start of the funeral service at 2 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2021 at Victory Chapel Church in Frankfort with Pastor Jim Meek officiating. Burial will follow at Bunnell Cemetery, Frankfort. Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is entrusted with the arrangements.
In adherence to the current CDC guidelines, it is requested that guests follow the appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.
