Ruth A. Stockberger, 92, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at IU Health Hospital in Frankfort. She was born in Frankfort on June 4, 1928 to Luther and Grace (Timmons) Harrison. She married LeMoine Stockberger; he preceded her in death.
Ruth graduated from Frankfort High School in 1946. She was employed at Delco for 35 years before retiring in 1985. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Steve Stockberger (Lisa) and Jeff Stockberger, both of Frankfort; her daughter, Pam Lowry (Joe) of Waynesville, OH; grandchildren, Danielle Stockberger (Eric), Heather Gunyon, Chelsea Stockberger, Matthew Gunyon, Braden Stockberger, Tabitha Cardenas (Omar), and Devon Stockberger; and her great-grandchildren, Madyn Lanum, Kaylynn Gunyon, Kenleigh Gunyon, Derick Cardenas, Regina Cardenas, and Rosalynn Cardenas.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Chuck and Harold Harrison; and her sisters, Avanell Borden and Ethel Douglass.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort with the funeral service following at 12:30 pm. The funeral service will be live-streamed and may be viewed at wwww.gendafuneralhome.com. Burial will follow at Whiteman Cemetery in Michigantown, IN.
