Sandra Kay Wells Bell, 73, formerly of Colfax, passed away on Sunday, February 18 2018, at Mulberry Health Care.
She was born April 25, 1944, in Boyleston, to Vernon E. and Elizabeth Brittain Wells.
Sandra was married to the late Ralph E. Bell, who passed away September 26, 2011.
Sandra attended Clinton Central Schools. She had worked for Unielectric, AES, Donnelly Book Return and several restaurants. Sandra was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Frankfort and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary in Kirklin. She enjoyed being with her family.
Surviving Sandra is her son, Jeff (Cindy) Beebe of Boyleston; two daughters, Laura Miller of Frankfort, and Janet Beebe of Colfax; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Leanne Smith; granddaughter, Lindsey Smith; son, Ernest Ray Beebe; sisters, Karen & Joe Kelley and Marilyn Sue & Carl Laflen;grandmother who raised her, Laura Brittain, and Aunt Blanche Schimmell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018, from 4pm until the time of service at 6pm, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Old Union Cemetery in Waveland, IN. Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
