Story contributor Pam Clements, Santa thru town, December 21, 2019. The Elves of Kirklin volunteer fire, EMS and Kirklin police departments led Santa and Mrs Claus through every street in the town of Kirklin in our 6th annual Christmas parade. The department members and their families met early, enjoyed chili and decorated all the trucks with brightly colored lights and decorations. One truck was decorated in red white and blue for our present and past military members proudly displaying The American flag.. There were at least 15 members and excess of twenty civilian volunteers including kids. This is our way to wish our community a Merry Christmas and say Thank you by giving back in a small way for what the community does for our departments.
