Second Lebanon Resident Dies from Rural Boone County Vehicle Accident

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office was notified that on December 14, the driver, Donald Peterman Jr (75 years old) died as a result of complications from the injuries sustained in the vehicle accident that occurred on November 20.

Earlier Release

At approximately 4:31 p.m. this evening, Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area of County Road 500 East and County Road 100 North, Lebanon, on a vehicle accident with injuries.

Initial investigation has found that a Dodge Ram, driven by a Morgan Zink (28 years old) of Georgetown, KY, was traveling southbound on CR 500 E, just north of CR 100 N. The Dodge Ram disregarded the stop sign at the intersection and as a result, struck a Ford Escape that was traveling westbound on CR 100 N. The Ford Escape was driven by Donald Peterman Jr (75 years old) and front passenger, Teresa Peterman (64 years old), both of Lebanon.

Teresa Peterman was pronounced deceased on scene due to injuries, as a result of the vehicle accident. Donald Peterman and Morgan Zink were transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
