Section of State Road 75 to Close Monday

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces State Road 75 will close Monday, April 18 between county roads W. 150 S. and W. 200 S., just north of the town of Advance. This is for a small structure replacement.

This segment of road was originally scheduled to close at a later date. The earlier closure will allow crews to better coordinate up-coming work on I-74. At this time, it is scheduled to be reopened to traffic by late June.

The project was awarded to Beaty Construction Inc. for $1.7 million, and also includes two other small structure replacements, one on State Road 38 just over one mile east of U.S. 421, and one on State Road 39 just south of Milledgeville and north County Road W. 450 S. and W. 500 S. S.R. 39 is expected to reopen on Monday, May 23.

It also includes a bridge deck replacement on S.R. 39 over Main Edlin Ditch just over three miles south of I-65.
