A two-vehicle crash between a semi and a passenger vehicle resulted in multiple injuries early Wednesday morning.
On April 16, just before 9 a.m., Frankfort Police officers were reportedly dispatched to a car versus semi crash in the 2400 block of East Wabash Street in Frankfort.
Preliminary investigations showed that a westbound semi had a green light while a vehicle turning north into the Walmart parking lot had a flashing yellow turn light, authorities report.
The semi, unable to stop in time, struck the car, police stated.
The semi driver was uninjured, but three occupants in the car were transported to hospitals in Indianapolis and Lafayette. The department released that the three occupants were treated and released.
