The Humane Society of Clinton County has taken in seven mixed breed puppies who are available for community members to meet.
The Humane Society has come into possession of seven mixed breed puppies who were born on Jan. 24. The puppies are only 8 weeks old, and four boys and three girls are available for fostering and adoption.
The Humane Society stated that when applications for puppies are opened, families are permitted to meet the puppies in the order that the applications are received and approved. Puppies are not held for families later down the list, so community members seeking a specific puppy should submit their application as soon as possible to possibly get the first pick of the litter.
The Humane Society’s “Foster to Adopt” program begins as soon as a community member picks a puppy. The puppies will need to return to the Humane Society every two to four weeks to complete their puppy vaccines, de-wormings and monthly preventions that can then be altered as soon as the puppies are bigger. All medical services are included in the adoption fee.
