Shane Kaweka Coffman, 43, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at his home in Frankfort. He was born in Lake Wales, Florida on June 14, 1978, to David M. Coffman Sr. and Michele Akaka (Miller) Marshall. He married Amy Zook Coffman; they later divorced.
Shane attended Frankfort Schools and achieved his GED. He worked for Ponderosa, NHK, Donaldson Co., and was a bartender at The Avenue. He loved to cook, grill, and smoke all kinds of meats. His interests included fishing, all kinds of music, and Pokémon Go. Shane was a member and attended First Church of the Nazarene in Frankfort.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, David and Judy Coffman; two daughters, Shea Lin and Alexis Taylor Coffman, both of Frankfort; nine siblings, Deneen (Keith) Elder, Danielle Arnold, Moi (Steve) McKenzie, Mana Arnold, Kathy Coffman, Davey Coffman, Michael Coffman, Joey Coffman, and Wayne Coffman; two grandchildren, Wrenly Noelle and Rhettlyn Nanea; and a nephew, Jr. Coffman, as well as 19 other nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Michele A. and one sibling, Butch Crouch.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort with Pastor Gordon Smith Officiating.
