Shane A. Wilson, 49, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Clinton House in Frankfort. He was born in Lafayette, IN on June 11, 1971 to Robert L. and Sandra (Wilson) Wilson.
Shane attended Mulberry High School and was self-employed. He enjoyed going to garage sales and finding treasures to purchase and re-sell. He also enjoyed woodworking. He was a caregiver for his parents for many years. His greatest loves were his cats, Sissy and Baby.
Shane is survived by his mother, Sandra Wilson; brother, Christopher Wilson of Lafayette, LA; sisters, Theresa (Dan) Clark of Lebanon, IN and Pennie (Dave) Wright of Lafayette, IN; eight nieces and nephews, and nine great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, one nephew, and one great nephew.
A private funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Genda Funeral Home, Mulberry Chapel with Pastor Terry Chase officiating.
