Shannon Ryan Perkins, 46, of Nixa, MO, formerly of Frankfort, was taken to his heavenly home much too soon, Sunday, March 15, 2020. He was born on March 11, 1974 in Danville, IL to Charles Perkins and Debbra (Winchester) Lemen. He attended high school at Clinton Prairie before moving to Oklahoma with his father. He worked for the WCA Environmental in Springfield, MO. Shannon enjoyed driving and working on old trucks as well as working on his health and fitness. He had aspirations of one day starting his own business helping others with their fitness. He loved playing basketball, but above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Shannon is survived by his son, Brayden Perkins of Branson, MO; step-son, Cody Bassett of Dallas, TX; mother, Debbra Lemen of Lafayette; sisters, Michelle (David) Schluttenhofer of Mulberry and Stephanie Griggs of Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A private burial will be held at a later date. Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is assisting with the arrangements.
