Sharon A. Coppock, 77, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. She was born February 13, 1944, in Saugerties, New York, to Robert C. and Genevieve (DePew) Shober. She married Kenneth Coppock Jr. on April 12, 1975; he survives.
She graduated from Saugerties High School class of 1962. Sharon’s passions included baking wedding cakes, painting, ancestry research, arts and crafts, and her dog Buddy. The thing she enjoyed most was spending time with her family and friends and creating memories. She was a caring and loving person, that never knew a stranger. She made her mark on everyone she met and was known for her generosity and passion for helping others.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Kenneth; two sons, Richard A. Walker and Michael Walker; two brothers, Joe (Carol) Shober and Robert (Linda) Shober; sister, Darlinda Shober; one grandson, Kenneth (Ginny) Walker; one great-great-granddaughter, Sophia Walker; 10 nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and family.
Per Sharon’s final wishes, no services will be held. Family pastor, Betty Coppock, guided the family through the loss of their loved one. Genda Funeral Home ~ Frankfort is entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
