Sharon K. Bowen, 67, of Fulton, MO, and a former Frankfort resident, died October 21, 2018 at Clinton House. She was born May 29, 1951 in Lafayette, Indiana to Doyle Cox and Martha (Chester) Dobson. She married William Bowen on October 13, 1972 and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2012.
Sharon lived in Fulton, MO for 20 years, prior to that she lived in Frankfort, and attended Frankfort Schools. A homemaker, she also worked for Unielectric in Frankfort, Bakers Potato Chips in Fulton and Kauffmans Wiring. She was a member of the New Horizons Church of God in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She enjoyed line dancing, playing cards, dice games, loved, to sing, watching movies and listening to music.
Surviving are her Daughter: Angie (Companion Jeff Akard) McDaniel of Frankfort; Son: Shannon (Companion Wanda Brown) Bowen of Fulton, MO; Step-Son: Matt (Theresa) Bowen of Frankfort; Step-Daughter: Lisa Bowen of Lafayette; 13 Grand Children and 35 Great Grand Children. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Bowen and a brother James Cox.
Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
