Sheriff’s Office Displaying Tribute Tree to Fallen Officers

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is displaying a tribute tree in the lobby for our 2019 fallen officers.  Every Officer’s name, agency and end of watch is wood engraved on a 7″ angel and hung with a blue ribbon.

After the first of the year, we plan to mail each one to their respective agencies.

We want to thank our talented Brian Pollard in Maintenance for engraving each of the angels, 121 to date, which includes K9s killed in the line of duty.

Attached is an image of Trooper Peter “Bo” Stephan’s angel.  Trooper Stephan served Lafayette District 14, to include Clinton County.  At the recent awards ceremony Sheriff Kelly noted, “We lost a great friend this year.  Bo was an incredible person and a great trooper.  We will never forget him or any of these officers and their sacrifice.”
