Shirley A. Mooneyhan, 84, of Pickard, passed away February 19, 2026 at Mulberry Health. She was born November 9, 1941 in Pickard to Leo Don & Mary Ann (Williams Snodgrass. She married James E “Buzz” Mooneyhan on April 14, 1963 in Pickard and he survives.
Shirley attended Sugar Creek school and was in the first graduating class from Clinton Central in 1960. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, and her friends and family.
Shirley is survived by her husband, James E. “Buzz” of Pickard, daughter, Nancy (Jon Jarrett) Salem of Mulberry, son, Jeff (Sally) Mooneyhan of Michigantown, brothers Fred (Mary June) Snodgrass of Pickard, David (Sharon) Snodgrass of Frankfort, sisters, Neva Favors of Kempton, Janet (Gary) Rawlins of Frankfort and Debra (Bill) Vann of Pickard, grandchildren, Ryan (Megan) Salem of Kirklin, Nicholas (Gabby Klippel) Salem of Frankfort, Kyle (Taylor) Mooneyhan of Morrow, OH, Trent Mooneyhan of Kokomo, step-grandchildren, Devon Freeman of Lafayette, Nolan Freeman, great-grandchildren, Grace Salem, Kaylee Salem, Layton Salem, Harper Klippel, Cooper Salem, Kolton Mooneyhan, Ryler Mooneyhan, and step-great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Bentley & Lily Freeman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Leo, Phillip, Joe, Charles, and Bruce Snodgrass.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 24th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Please visit goodwinfuneralhome.com to leave a condolence.
