According to Chief Troy Bacon, “The School of Police and Command is one of the leading law enforcement command school in the country. The instruction that Deputy Chief Shoemaker received during the twenty-two week course will greatly benefit the police department and city of Frankfort”.
“I am grateful to Chief Bacon for giving me the opportunity to attend the command school,” said Deputy Chief Shoemaker. “The education and leadership training, along with networking with classmates from all over the country, has taught me valuable lessons in modern policing.”
Deputy Chief Shoemaker will receive his diploma and participate in a formal graduation ceremony at Northwestern University on May 15, 2020.
