“Shop Small Saturday” Celebrated This Weekend (AUDIO)

It is time to shop small!

National “Small Business Saturday” is November 27 and businesses in Clinton County are rolling out the red carpet to shop small this weekend and celebrate shopping with friends, neighbors and local businesses throughout the County.

Hours vary from business to business but most likely you will see your favorite local businesses delighted to see you check things out.

Not only is Saturday “Shop Small” Day in Clinton County, Businesses will also be ready next weekend. The Frankfort Downtown parade gets the excitement going at 3PM Saturday December 4th as Clinton County businesses continue to roll out the red carpet for shoppers.

Case in point: BCS landscaping in Michigantown is having an open house to celebrate their new expanded showroom on Friday December 3 and Saturday December 4 from 9am to 5pm.

BCS has added several hundred square feet to the showroom and invites shoppers to check out the new addition. Listen to Roby as she called Party Line Tuesday morning.

Local businesses help build community like no other place to shop.  How many out-of-state on-line shopping sites help with Clinton County high school fund raisers, pay local taxes for streets, schools and roads,  support local media or donate to the United Way and employ your neighbors and friends who live work and play in our community?

Something to consider as you discover treasures close by.
