The Indiana Department of Transportation announces short-term stoppages that will impact I-65 near Lebanon.
Beginning on or after Tuesday evening, July 14, INDOT contractors will begin 20-minute stoppages between State Road 47 and S.R. 32 (140-146-mile markers) in both directions of I-65. The purpose of the stoppages is to allow crews to safely install overhead signage for the new 52 at 65 interchange.
Work will take place during the evening hours only, lasting between midnight and 5 a.m. for up to two weeks. All construction is weather-permitting and subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and use caution while construction is ongoing.
