Six People Arrested After Police Alerted to Domestic Violence

At approximately 5:24 a.m. on Wednesday, Frankfort Police were dispatched to a domestic in the 1100 Block W Jefferson St.  Upon arriving, Officers found a male victim who had been struck in the head with a weapon.   Officers were alerted that the suspect was still in the house.  A search warrant was applied for by officers and detectives.   A subsequent search of the residence revealed remnants of an underage drinking party, firearms and narcotics possession.

“This house has been a target of our narcotics detectives,” said Deputy Chief Scott Shoemaker.  “Certain individuals have been dealing methamphetamine and happened to be involved in this particular call at this residence. More charges are possible as the investigation continues.”

The following were arrested:

27-year-old, Edgar Cardenas of Frankfort, for Domestic Battery, Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Firearm and Interfering with Reporting of a Crime;
18-year-old, Calee Albertson of Frankfort, for Three counts of Dealing Methamphetamine;
20-year-old, Abraham Cardenas of Frankfort, for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol;
19-year-old, Karly Carter of Frankfort, for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol;
21-year-old, Nathan Howe of Frankfort, for Possession of a Syringe;
18-year-old, Kara Brackney of Frankfort, for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol;
19-year-old, Cheyanne Dickey of Jamestown, for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol.

All were transported to the Clinton County Jail and formal charges by the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office were filed.
