Slip And Slide Kickball Hosted By F.U.N

Story contributor Tammy Klecz Danner, What a great day for a Slip and Slide Kickball game. The F.U.N. ( Frankfort’s Unified Neighborhood Partnered with Connecting Point Church for a Back to School Bash . A Slip and Slide Kickball field was set up at the old Kyger School property. The rules were simple , you had to run to the bases that was wet down with water and baby oil “well let me say they slid into the bases. The bases where baby pools filled with water. We had a great turn out and all that participated had a awesome time, and they all left wet and with a smile on their faces. The Frankfort Fire Dept provided the water for the pools and slip and slides , along with plenty of water to keep everyone cool and wet. So we want to give them a great big thumps up along with a huge thank you . It worked out great to have them their helping us keep the slip and slides wet down and a lot of extra hosing of the players. There was also free food and drinks provided and a Touch a Vehicle area all at the Old Kyger School , provided by Connecting Point Church. If you missed this event I’m sure that F.U.N will be doing it again next year. “ BE THE CHANGE”, one person and one event at a time.
