During Monday evening’s Board of Public Works meeting, Frankfort Fire Department Chief Matt Stidham asked the Board of Public Works to accept Firefighter Captain Tony Snyder’s retirement effectively, March 15.
Captain Snyder served the community for 29 years as a firefighter and has been a 2nd generation firefighter since 1993 for the City of Frankfort.’
“Many of our members looked up to him for the knowledge and wisdom that he has offered over the years. Tony’s passion for Frankfort will be
missed at the department, but we wish him nothing but the best,” stated Chief Stidham.
“Thank you Tony for your years of service and dedication to the residents and to the Fire Department. You have been an inspiration for the younger generation of firefighters. I want to wish you the best in your future endeavors.” – Mayor Judy Sheets
