Solidarity Scholarship Program Opens Feb. 1 To Support Students’ Educational Goals

Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union has announced that the Solidarity Scholarship Program will officially open for applications this Saturday, Feb. 1 to help support students pursuing higher education, whether at a college, university or trade school.

This year, Solidarity will award eight scholarships of $2,000 each, including one specifically designed for a trade school applicant. Solidarity stated that more than one trade school student may be selected as a recipient.

“At Solidarity, we are committed to empowering students and investing in their future success,” President and CEO Amy Benner said. “Education is a critical step toward achieving personal and professional goals, and we are honored to support our members on their journey.”

The application period will extend from Feb. 1 through March 31 with a midnight deadline this year. The scholarships are open to Solidarity members pursuing college, university or trade school education. Students interested in applying may review eligibility requirements and submit their applications online at SOLFCU.org.
