Sonia F. Heller, 58, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was born in Hammond on September 8, 1967, to Austin “Audey” Heller and Jessie Evans.
Sonia was a 1986 graduate of Frankfort High School and attended Indiana Business College. She worked for McDonald’s for many years before becoming disabled in 2014. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, baking, listening to Elvis Presley music, and doing diamond art. She was an avid Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck and Eli Manning fan. She was a strong woman, with a soft heart that was willing to help others in any way she could. She loved her family, especially enjoyed spoiling and caring for her grandchildren.
Sonia is survived by her children William (Kris) Robinson, Bobby Robinson and Brandon Martin; her mother; life partner and soulmate, Wayne Kindley; brothers, Christopher Heller and Tim (Angie) Baggett; sisters, Tina Sharp, Kathy (Sal) Lopez and Telinda (Jim) Gellinger; and grandchildren, Layla, Alexis, Serena, Anastasia, Willow and Kai.
She was preceded in death by her father and sister, April.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4-7pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 20, at 12pm at the funeral home.
