The City of Frankfort and Mayor Judy Sheets are pleased to announce the next event in the Sparkling Success Leadership Series Luncheon, to be held on Tuesday, November 19, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Frankfort Neighborhood Center.
This inspiring luncheon will feature Indiana State Senator Cyndi Carrasco as the keynote speaker. Senator Carrasco represents Senate District 36, which includes portions of Johnson and Marion Counties. She serves as the ranking member of the Senate Committee on Corrections and Criminal Law and sits on the Environmental Affairs, Insurance and Financial Institutions, and Judiciary Committees.

In addition to her legislative leadership, Senator Carrasco is Vice President and General Counsel for the University of Indianapolis and formerly served as Indiana’s first female Inspector General and Executive Director of the State Ethics Commission. Her distinguished career has been marked by integrity, service, and a deep commitment to good governance and community engagement.

Mayor Sheets launched the Sparkling Success Leadership Series earlier this year to create more opportunities for local leaders to gather, connect, and learn from influential voices across the state. The event series celebrates strong female leaders whose work exemplifies the spirit of collaboration, courage, and service — qualities that continue to shape the future of the Gem City.
“As we welcome Senator Carrasco to Frankfort, we continue building a community that values leadership at every level — from our neighborhoods to our state,” said Mayor Sheets. “These gatherings remind us that while our city continues to grow and evolve, we remain grounded in the rural heritage, values, and sense of connection that make Frankfort shine.”

Doors open at 11:00 AM for photos and networking. Tickets are $25 per person, which includes lunch and refreshments. Payments can be made by cash, check, or card (a 3% service fee applies to card transactions). For those wishing to sponsor the event, a variety of levels are available to show your support for this meaningful event.
RSVPs are requested by November 12 by calling the Mayor’s Office at 765.654.7332.
