Four Generations and 59 years have passed since the beginning of Sparrow Florist on 1st Street in Frankfort.
Chris Wheatley, Julie Wheatley Balensiefer and Family have announced that the last day for Sparrow Florist will be Friday, December 21, 2018.
The original greenhouses were built in 1929 for F.E. Knabe & Son and purchased in 1939 by Eugene Sparrow. The rest is history, including the 1959 purchase of Sparrows by the Gordon and Juanita Eberle.
Sparrow Florist has been a Party Line sponsor on WILO for many years and Sparrow creations have brightened the tables, parties, homes and memorial services in Clinton County for decades.
