Frankfort’s Unified Neighborhoods F.U.N. group and Center Township of Clinton County Trustee made Halloween a great event at the Frankfort TPA Park this year and deserves a big thank you from the community.
There were nineteen trucks decorated also the large shelter for people walking through the park.
We know countless hours went into planning the event and could not be done without so many generous sponsors. Some of the sponsors to donate were as follows, The American Legion gave $300.00 for Spooky Trails, Frito Lay donated many chips to hand out, Eric Woods (Schulz Market) donated candy, MaryLynn Peters, Robin Davis, and Jaque Ann donated candy, The Eagles men and women aux., Copas Insurance, Frankfort Wendys, Burger King, Wamplers, Connecting Point Church, Heathers Flowers, Goodwins Funeral Home, Zacharys, City of Frankfort, Including Police Dept. All City Departments, the support of Mayor Judy Sheets, The Parks Department who also stepped up and helped with clean up . And Rodney Mounts done a lot of work on this event and also help provide us with information on the sponsors that helped out.
There was a pot to be split between the three top trucks. You can see those photos on the Facebook page of Frankfort’s Unified Neighborhoods page. 1st place went to James Fitzgerald with Jurrasic Park $200 winner, 2nd place Kristina Campos with the day of the dead, $125 winner, And 3rd place Kegan Crafton with Friday the 13th $75.winner.
There may be more sponsors that did not get named here and the community thanks you all including all who gave out treats to make this event special for everyone young and not so young.
