St. Matthew Preschool, in collaboration with the United Way for Clinton County, announced on Jan. 7 that they will expand their services to a second location to better serve all community members in Frankfort.
The preschool will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the new location on Monday, Feb. 3 at 9 a.m. at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church at 5641 W. Mulberry Jefferson Rd. in Frankfort. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP to United Way Executive Director Anita Stewart at astewart@uwclintoncounty.org. Attendees should dress according to the weather for the ceremony will be hosted outside, and attendees should park at the bottom of the parking lot.
As the preschool prepares for its opening later this year, it is seeking dedicated community members who will provide a nurturing, loving and safe environment for children aged six weeks to 5-years-old. Applications are being accepted to join the Early Childhood teaching staff on full-time and part-time positions. Applicants must be at least 18 years old or above and be able to begin their position in June. The center’s hours will be from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The preschool is seeking to hire individuals with childcare experience or a degree in Early Childhood or Early Elementary concentrations or obtained their CDA. For more information about applying, contact Mary Kay Baker at 765-654-4546 or bakermarykay@hotmail.com
Community members are also encouraged to mark their calendars for May 1 for the public registration at both campuses beginning at 9 a.m. with all registration being completed on the St. Matthew Preschool Frankfort Facebook page.
