Stephen Moore, 69, of Lebanon, formerly of Frankfort, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. He was born June 2, 1951 in Logansport to John L. & Josephine (Brookshire) Moore. He married Chris Steiner on June 30, 1973; she survives.
Stephen graduated from Clinton Prairie High School in 1969. He worked for the Indiana State Highway Department for over 15 years and then worked for Donaldson Company and The Tech Group until retiring in 2014. Steve liked things to be correct and in their place. He was a good man with a quiet inner soul. He enjoyed fishing with newly strung poles, drawing, painting with oils and acrylic, gardening in his flower and vegetable gardens, and having clean cars. Above all he enjoyed time with family, especially sharing a Coke, ice cream, and candy with his grandkids.
Stephen is survived by his daughters, Angela (Ben) Mayner and their children, Katelyn and Bryce of Lebanon; Emily (Adam) Yeary and their children Aden, Ella, and Acen of Russiaville; and a brother, Kenneth (Carolyn) Moore of Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Wilma Grace; twin brother, Stan, and brother, John Robert.
Visitation will be held, Friday, July 10, 2020 from 12-2 pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
