Steven Earl Evans, 64, of Indianapolis, formerly of Forest, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at IU Health West Hospital in Avon.
He was born on December 7, 1953 in Frankfort to Cleo E. Evans Jr. and Shirley (Bowen Evans. He grew up in Forest and was a 1971 graduate of Clinton Central High School and Indiana Business College. He married Diana Goodman on September 13, 2003 in Cincinnati, OH and she survives. Steven worked for Handelman Company Music Distribution as Operations Manager for 28 years where he worked in Batavia, OH and transferred to Indianapolis in 1995. He then worked for Werner Enterprises as a truck driver for 11 ½ years. Steven loved music and enjoyed Indy Car Racing.
Survivors include his Wife: Diana Goodman of Indianapolis; Sisters: Nancy (Chuck) Rich and Joni Spears both of Frankfort; Step-Son: Eric Goodman of Cincinnati, OH; Step-Daughter: Sharre (Everrett) Hull of Midland Guardian, OH; Several Step-Grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. at Harmony Hall in Wesley Manor, Frankfort.
