Ready to knock ‘em dead with your best recipe?
Grandma’s Cook-off is in its 11th year this Saturday September 22 and you are invited to enter a favorite Main Dish, Side Dish, Soup or Dessert. The top winner in each category will receive $300.00 on the spot after judges select your gastronomical masterpiece.
Cook your Grandma’s favorite recipe. Bring your completed dish fully prepared with the recipe to Genda at 608 N. Main Street on the 22nd of September. One entry per person and you must be present to win. Winners will be announced day of the event and decision of judges is final.
The Cook-Off contest was started 11 years ago when Funeral Director/Owner Mark Genda noticed many families he had the opportunity to serve over the years often mentioned the fantastic food Grandma used to make. Life-long memories sometimes are made with loved ones around the dining room table. Why not enjoy and celebrate some of those wonderful recipes and better yet…share them while Grandma is there to share.
This year you don’t have to be a Grandma or Grandpa to participate. Just use her recipe! :>)
All entries must register by calling 765-659-3356 or stop by Genda Funeral home at 608 N. Main Street, Frankfort, Indiana.
