Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, Frankfort, Rossville and The Crossing have a school bus parked in front of Frankfort Walmart Wednesday, July 31 from 5-7 p.m.
Area students return soon to school and educators inevitably tell us there are some needs students have that go unfulfilled without help from a teacher, administrator or you and me stepping in to help a little. It may be a notebook, pencil, set of crayons, folders or even a backpack or calculator.
Families are faced with many expenses when returning to school as they try to cover all the bases. Sometimes everything can’t quite be covered. If you feel led to donate any new school supplies to the “Stuff the Bus” project, stop by Walmart Wednesday July 31 from 5 to 7. Shine 99’s Cindy Loveless will be on hand with the Shine 99/WILO/Clinton County Daily News team to help.
“The total is the sum of the parts”. A little here and a little there will help stuff the bus for area schools and help our area students have a little better experience at school this year.
If you can’t “Stuff the Bus” this Wednesday from 5 to 7, ask the Customer Service Department on the west side of the Walmart store and they can direct you to the secure school supply bin that will be available a day or two before and after the event.
”Don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do”
A reminder for us all, students included. :>)
