SHINE 99 and Kaspar Broadcasting are getting together for this year’s Stuff the Bus event that will take place Wednesday, August 1, from 5-7 p.m. at the Frankfort Walmart.
Kids are getting ready to go back to school and some of them will not quite have everything they need in the classroom. That’s where you come in.
Five Clinton County schools — Frankfort, Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, Rossville and The Crossing — will each bring a bus to collect your donated pens, pencils, paper, backpacks, sanitation items and dry erasers.
If you want a list of items, you can pick up a list at Frankfort Walmart and also at the SHINE 99 radio tent beside the buses. Walmart will also have pre-prepared bags of school supplies for purchase as well.
SHINE 99 and the five buses will park directly in front of the Frankfort Walmart store. Scheduled to appear is the National Guard, Frankfort Fire Department, Frankfort Police and EMS.
