Suncrest Elementary teacher Cody Shanks has been arrested on child ponography charges. According to State Police they started their investigation after recieving a tip from the National Center for Missing and and Exploited Children, That tip led them to Shanks home in Bunker Hill. Shanks was arrested and taken to Miami County Jail.
Frankfort confirmed he was a teacher at Suncrest Elementary and was placed on leave this morning after the district was made aware of the investigation.
According to WLFI the teacher was found in possession of child pornography.
