Suncrest Elementary School is hosting its IREAD-3 parent night tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 9 to aid parents in understanding the importance and reasoning behind the implementation of the test for third-grade students.
Parents have been invited to hear about the test that their third-grade student will be taking tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. at Suncrest Elementary School.
The IREAD-3 test determines whether the student is ready to move on to fourth-grade next year.
”It’s very important for you to come to hear about the test that your third-grader will have to take this year,” the school released. “We’ll show you what the test looks like and also give you tips on how you can help at home.
Students must pass with a score of 446 or higher to be determined as ready for fourth-grade.
