Following years of dedicated work at the Red Barn Summer Theatre in Frankfort, a local community member has officially been named as the Outreach Specialist as she continues her role with the organization and expands even further.
Andi Slipher was recently named as the Outreach Specialist at Red Barn following her dedicated work over numerous seasons to improve the Barn’s landscaping prior to the shows in the summer months. According to the Barn, the historic structure’s beautification has largely been attributed to the work on Slipher and her Barnstormers crew, earning her the title of a super volunteer for the Barn.
The Barn stated that it was “making it official” by granting Slipher with a title and recognizing her for her continued hard work that may be unnoticed by the patrons and staff.
In her new role, Slipher will serve as the lead correspondent for the show sponsors, advertisers and creative programming to continue the theatre’s dedication to providing theatre access for all Clinton County residents. Slipher stated that she will ensure that preview nights with community partners are still available, and she will uphold the check-out-a-ticket program at the Frankfort Community Public Library. Slipher will also be in charge of press releases to guarantee that the word of the shows is distributed to patrons across the state.
“A superstar in her own right, please help us congratulate Andi on her new role,” the Barn released.
