Susan Marie “Susie” Donoho, 76, of Frankfort, passed away August 3, 2022 surrounded by family in her home. She was born on May 10, 1946 in Delphi, Indiana to Daniel and Mary (Thompson) Boyles. She married Gary W. Donoho on December 22, 1962 and he survives.
Susie lived the majority of her life in Frankfort and had worked for Del Monte, Mallory Controls, National Seal, and Frito Lay all in Frankfort. She was also a crossing guard for Frankfort Schools. She was a past member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge Auxiliaries in Frankfort. Susie was full of energy and always on the go. She enjoyed being outdoors – gardening was her passion – and she also enjoyed fishing, “creeking”, floating, riding her bicycle with her children, and riding her motorcycle. She was a collector of dolls and glass and loved searching for these things at flea markets and auctions. She loved to listen to music and loved dancing to Country Swing and Rock & Roll. Family was most important to Susie and she loved spending time with them.
Surviving along with her husband: Gary are her Daughter: Tracy Sue (John) Howe of Frankfort; Son: David Wayne (Norma Sue) Donoho of Lebanon; Brother: Phillip (Lela) Boyles of Flora; 9 Grandchildren: Joshua, Muranda, Jeffrey, Jessica, Tyler, Kenneth, Michael, Sandra, and Austin; 32 Great-Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and a great-granddaughter: Candice.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. Friends may visit 12 Noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Frankfort.
