The Frankfort Police Department released further information regarding the arrest of a suspect last night following reports of shots fired in Frankfort.
On April 14, just before 8:45 p.m., the department reportedly received reports of a man with a gun and shots fired in the area of Washington Street and Young Street.
The department stated that due to a quick response from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and local officers, a suspect was detained in the incident.
The department released that no injuries were reported, and no threat to the public likely exists at this time. The investigation is ongoing into the incident.
No further information has been released as of today, April 15 at 12:30 p.m.
