Tammy Jo Lane, 64, of Frankfort, died January 10, 2024 at Kindred Hospital North, Indianapolis, Ind. She was born August 21, 1959 in Frankfort to the late Harry & Sandra Kay (Sheets) Stidham. She married Herbert Lane on June 10, 1979 in Frankfort and he survives.
Tammy was a 1977 graduat
e of Frankfort High School and attended class at Ivy Tech following high school. She was a lifelong Frankfort resident and worked for Clinton County dispatch as a 911 operator for 19 years. She was a former member of the Antioch Church. Tammy was a Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan and loved her fur babies.
Tammy is survived by her husband: Herbert Lane of Frankfort, sons: Matt (Laura) Stidham of rural Frankfort, Jeff Lane of Frankfort, daughters: Keisha Stidham of Frankfort, Mandy Lane of Frankfort, sisters: Jamie (Steve) Kochert of Columbia, MO, Debbie (Randy) Crowe of Lafayette, grandchildren: Eian (Holly) Stidham of Boise, ID, Evan Stidham of Frankfort, Stacia (Bret) Diedorf of Frankfort, Kourtney (James) Hamilton of Brookston, Kinzey (Fiancé Colin Bougher) Alconedo of Lebanon, McKenna (James) Boggs of Frankfort, Gracie Layton of Frankfort, Elliott Dick of Frankfort, Morgan Harrington of Frankfort, Jalen Lane of Lafayette, Emma Lane of Colfax and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
