Tara Mae Evans, 75, of Frankfort, passed away April 1, 2025 at her home. She was born May 31, 1949 in Frankfort to Harold E. & Geneva Mary (Newhart) Stewart. She married Allen R. Evans in 2003 and he survives.
Tara was a 1967 graduate of Frankfort High School. She had worked at Federal Mogul. Tara was baptized at the First Christian Church and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She loved fishing and her dogs, Daisy Mae, Doodle Bug and Izzy Mae.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Evans of Frankfort, son, Stephen (Beverly) Barnes of Tennessee, daughter, Stephanie (Cheyenne) Kohler of Missouri, sister, Cheryl Stewart Lushe of Arlington, VA, brother, Harold Milton Stewart of Carmel, 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Tara is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sharon Kay Stahly.
